I have a client who does not use QB Payments because it's just not necessary for her. She was surprised to receive an email that one of her customers could select an option to pay via ACH. My client said she would do it this one time, but it was very confusing and she didn't feel comfortable with the process. This is a comment from my client: "I really resent QB’s change — This took so much extra time and they get 1%."
This is unfortunate, as it was additional administrative time and effort for me as well, and makes me look bad as the one who set her up with QBO.
